Dear Claudia and Frank,
Thank you for a lively, lovely weekend. It was exactly what we needed to cleanse ourselves from the mad pace of “big city” life. The view was incredible and so were the long walks on the beach. I felt so inspired that I wrote 20(!!) pages. Whenever I feel stressed from work, I shall think longingly of your little apartment with the big view.
See you next summer!

What a gorgeous view! I don’t know if I will be able to sleep tonight as I just want to look out the window! Frank and Claudia provided a warm welcome what with extra comforters and rhubarb cobbler! Saw dorsal fins out the window that we think were orcas stirring up the sea to form a bait ball of birds. Very comfy and cozy. . . .

Thank you for providing such a lovely place for us to stay in Homer. The view is spectacular and the cottage precious and so clean.

Lovely, clean, restful. Beautiful flowers. Saw a full moon over the mountains. WOW!

What a great place to stay! What great people to be around! What a wonderful view! The ever changing light on the mountains across the bay kept me entertained. The cranes, gulls, eagles and sea otters kept us looking through the binoculars. The ocean center naturalists told me what the creatures were that I was seeing. The Pratt Museum told me about the community past and present. The world class concert was a delight to hear.

I come to Homer often, not to fish or sight see, but to absorb the ocean and the sea air. The view was great and once again I am relaxed. Greg and I picked raspberries and walked the beach for miles. Of course, I went in and got soaked but that is what I love about the sea - the spiritual infusion and the ability to play and be the child we all have within us.
Being able to have our dogs and enjoy the beach was wonderful!
Claudia, thank you for the wonderful pie. We will come again! May God bless you both and may you bring peace to all who stay here.

Our sincerest thanks and appreciation for a most relaxing stay at the end of the road. The view is magnificent, the weather superb, and the hospitality five star. Only regret is not having more time to spend in your comfy cottage.

Claudia and Frank have created a labor of love for the weary traveler. My children loved the view (as do the parents), they love the lawn, the cool sleeping accommodations, the VCR. . .the beach etc. (I just now saw a bald eagle fly by) . . . What a place!! Thanks for the personal touches and all the extras. We loved it here from day 1.

I could sit here for hours just staring at the ever-changing sea & sky and mountains. You have captured a bit of paradise here.

What a wonderful place. We loved the view - think of the beauty and it puts everything in perspective!

A very relaxing few days - and such a rejuvenating place to stay! We felt very pampered.

This is our last day in Alaska after coming and working here for 32 years. . . .This is a wonderful place to spend my last day. . . .

When we came to Homer we were joking that before returning to Anchorage at the end of our Alaska tour we wanted to find a place
- with a magnificent view
- 2 bedrooms for the 3 of us
- a kitchen with a fridge
- within walking distance to the city center
and have we ever found all this, including your hospitality with the delicious raspberries, and perfectly arranged flowers on the table. It will certainly stick in our memories when everyday life has us back in Germany. Thank you so much for it.

Thank you for your hospitality and the great view and access to the beach - great night’s rest and off we go again - RV is in repair in Anchorage, but the “fate” of landing at Jenny Lane Cottage was worth it.

We’re well over 4000 miles from home but I think this is the closest to home yet. The view is incredible, especially if you sleep in the living room / kitchen.

The best place to stay in all of Alaska. Gracious hospitality and gorgeous views.

The six kids had a blast playing soccer in the front yard and climbing down to the beach. We had lovely bonfires down there.
It was so peaceful and serene here, especially when the kids weren’t .
The apartment was well stocked and very comfortable.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Homer and look forward to coming back to the Jenny lane Apartment.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The view was unbelievable, especially from the yard’s edge. This was certainly a highlight of our trip.

In the two days we spent in Homer we came to appreciate its singular beauty. Surrounded by a warm sea it has a mild fall climate, and yet we marvel at the mountains and glaciers on the other side of the ay. And that is apart form the restaurants, the museum and the institute
But, in particular, we loved the apartment with its full view of the bay and glaciers.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage. The rental is very complete - we certainly enjoyed the kitchen, and, well, the view is to die for. A piece of God’s country.

There is a rhythm of wave,sea,sun,clouds that laps on the soul, and a sharp piercing distinction between the “within” and the “without”. Thank you for this crystalline experience. We’re so happy to have found you and your paradise on our nomadic trek.

We will treasure our stay in Homer - enhanced by your hospitality and the lovely Jenny Lane apartment. It was cozy, comfortable and immaculate - all the comforts of home, but with a view unsurpassed by anything we’ve seen.

Thank you for the wonderful accommodations on Jenny Lane. We really enjoyed the beauty and wildlife from your back yard (eagles, eagle nest, sea otters, seals, pheasant, and crows).

We came with our grandchildren for a day and would have loved to stay longer.
What a view - panoramic - where mountain meets ocean. A charmingly quaint little cottage tucked in a cove by the sea - with just the right touches, crisp as fresh baked toast . . . idyllic just the place as we say in Texas, to kick back and relax, watch the tides roll in and the sea gulls glide through the air. We saw the bald eagles too - and took a wonderful stroll- rockhounding

This was our best anniversary ever!! What an incredible place with an absolutely stunning view. We didn’t want to do anything other than walk on the beach with our labs and sit here and enjoy watching the sea otters and birds. . . .

Thanks for a lovely stay. We love our mountains in Eagle River, but the beach and mountains over water are wonderful! I especially enjoyed walking to the bakery in the morning and being so close to town. Our teenage boys also loved being able to explore on their own and get out and about on foot . . . . .

We appreciated your hospitality & this glorious apartment. It feels more like a palace with the spectacular window and all the views for my eyes and senses to feast on!

Wow - what a place. What a great set -up for both your guests and you! “We fell in love with the apartment from the moment we walked in. Bayley (age 6) and Adam (age 3) gleefully ran around the cottage admiring all those special extra touches like the moose on the bed, the back scratchers etc. You are so blessed to call Homer home. We love the beach and spent lots of time walking it and looking for treasure. This trip is extra special because we have our hound-dogs with us. I always say you can tell great people if they like animals. So, thanks for making that possible.
